In the vineyard, after taking it over from the previous owner, we discovered a few Riesling vines. As a late-ripening variety, it takes its time, so we tried to harvest it as late as possible. Unfortunately, there wasn't enough for a whole barrel, so we added the other grapes from the vineyard to the must. Contact with the skins gives the wine its darker colour.
