During the summer, you can visit the wineries in Dolní Dunajovice and Březí for the summer open cellars event. During the entire summer, you can visit any winery - according to the service schedule, each winery is open and you can go for a tasting. Anytime, without reservation and without entrance fee

Pálava vintage

6.9. - 8.9. 2024

The Pálava vintage takes place regularly on the second weekend of September in Mikulov. Three days of exuberant fun with a varied program await lovers of selected culinary delicacies, good drink and culture.

Waltz vintage

5.10. 2024

This traditional, most folkloric vintage is held in cooperation with the City of Valtice, Château Valtice - Vinné sklepy Valtice, as, the Secondary Wine School and the Valtice State Castle.

Hustopeč solstice

21.6. 2024 (17:00 - 00:00)

It takes place in the alleys - Vinařská and Na Hradbách, where you will be able to taste the wines of local winemakers. You will also see a duel between local winemakers in a traditional solstice ritual, where they will compete against each other. The visitor will thus see what power the winemaker must have, so that we can then enjoy the result of his work. The winning lane will then be proud of the Solstice trophy. Next, magical beings will guide you through the solstice rituals. Divination, incantation and dancing with forest fairies await you.

Show of open cellars

Dolní Dunajovice and Březí, 11.5. - 12.5. 2024

As part of the open cellars event, you can visit any winery in the village of Březí and Dolní Dunajovice. You buy a ticket and taste up to 7 different wines as part of it. Regular bus transport between municipalities is provided for the duration of the event.

Summer concerts 2024 in Sonberk

The Sonberk winery, in cooperation with the Music in the Vineyards project , offers several summer concert dates right in the vineyard. You will find several interesting Czech and Slovak performers there. Click here to their official website , where you can find all the info.

 Cycling races in Pálava

25.5. 2024

For sports enthusiasts and especially cyclists, the Road Classics cycling race is organized every year. The route leads through the vineyards, past Děvín, the Nové Mlýny reservoir and the Lednice-Valtice area. You can find out all the info here: zde.

 Almond festivities

21.3. - 23.3. 2025

The Almond and Wine Festival takes place every year at the end of March and has a lot to offer! During the festivities, you can look forward to a rich program for adults and children, concerts, tasting of almond specialties and open cellars. More info on the website here: zde.

 Ceramic workshop Snopková

Lower Dunajovice
